Wo gibt es Hilfe, wenn ich mich über sexuelle Belästigung am Arbeitsplatz beschweren will? Was sind mögliche Handlungswege? Was erleben Betroffene, wenn sie sich entscheiden, eine Beschwerde einzureichen?
Für den bff – Bundesverband Frauenberatungsstellen und Frauennotrufe haben wir die dreiteilige Animationsfilmreihe make it work! konzipiert und umgesetzt. Anhand von drei Fallbeispielen zeigen die Filme unterschiedliche Erfahrungen rund um sexuelle Belästigung am Arbeits- und Ausbildungsplatz und informieren über Rechte, Handlungsmöglichkeiten und Unterstützungsangebote für Betroffene. Die Videos werden online sowie in Schulungen, Workshops und Beratungszusammenhängen eingesetzt und sind auf Deutsch, Englisch und in Leichter Sprache verfügbar.

How can workplace harassment be addressed without simplifying its complexity?
make it work! is an awareness and education campaign addressing sexual harassment, discrimination, and violence in the workplace. The films aim to make legal frameworks, rights, and support structures understandable and applicable in everyday professional situations.
Developed for workshops, training programmes, counselling settings, and public information, the challenge was to translate complex legal and institutional structures into formats that are accessible while approaching the topic with care and respect.
Three protagonists of different ages and employment situations guide the films. Each story explores a different pathway: seeking external counselling, documenting incidents over time, using internal complaint structures, or cautiously addressing the situation at work. Rather than presenting simplified narratives of empowerment, the films acknowledge hesitation, uncertainty, and the structural conditions that shape decisions.
The visual language is based on reduced, minimalist animation. Scenes unfold gradually, keeping the perspective of the affected person central while avoiding explicit or sensational imagery. The pacing and narrative structure were developed for use in training contexts, where the films serve as a shared point of reference for discussion.
